Our doctrine
What we believe.
We hold to the Apostolic doctrine preached by Peter on the day of Pentecost and continued in the New Testament Church. Here is what we teach and live by.
- I
An Apostolic Church
We are an Apostolic church. This means we teach and preach the doctrines set forth by Jesus Christ and His Apostles.
- II
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- III
One God
There is only one God. Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh (John 1:1-14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9).
- IV
Humanity and Sin
We believe that all of humanity is born under the curse of sin and is in need of salvation.
- V
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Salvation is by grace through faith and not by works.
- VI
The Plan of Salvation
Grace must be acted upon through faith by repentance from sins, water baptism in Jesus' Name for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:38; 4:12; 8:12-17; 10:43-48; 19:1-6).
- VII
Holiness
Furthermore, we believe God has called His people to live a holy and separated life from sin.
